I feel so bad that these are the only photos we have for Alice's first birthday. It's not that we forgot to take pictures. This is all we did for her. My back had gone out. I could barely walk. And the entire family was extremely ill. Allen's parents came down to help take care of the girls and us because we were that sick. I hope she will not hold a grudge and enjoy other birthdays she might actually remember.
