When you don't post very often it is difficult to decide what pictures to post. I would love to post every picture I take but that would consume my days. Here are a few I want to feature this time.
Alice is often walking around in my high heals but this time I caught her walking around in Daddy's work boots. She is one strong girl to lug those around.
Part of Elsie's desire to be independent is combing her own hair. Although I try and teach her how to care for her curly hair, she still likes to brush and comb it while it is dry and all I see is poofy, out of control, hair, but she loves it. Therefore, I like to see her smile with the smile of self-reliance. Oh, and if you think she looks like the girl in the new movie coming out called 'Brave', your not the only one. Not only do people comment on her hair, but now they relate it to the new movie.
I don't know how she could fall asleep sitting up. I guess all our projects wore her out.
Our first swim at my sister's house. I need to get the girls swimming more often so they can learn to swim. Too bad the new pool in town is only for competition. Yah, wish they would have made that known before hand or at least during the process when they were running out of money, instead of announcing in the paper that the new pool is finished, but you are not allowed to swim in it. So many of us were disappointed with the lack of communication from the town council. I am off my soap box now.
I love my sister. Isn't she so beautiful!
So excited for the progress of the Gilbert Temple. I wish we could stop by more often but the quick trips to the area involve the Mesa Temple and family then it's time to go. Allen was talking about the location of the Gilbert Temple the other day to some friends and how when Allen come home from his mission there was nothing out there and he actually got lost. It has grown so much in that area.
Allen and I joined his parents and siblings for a date night at San Tan Flats. It was so much fun!!!! Dinner and dancing. Lots of dancing. Did I mention it was lots of fun?!! I love Allen so much.

Your family is so beautiful April! I am so glad I was able to reconnect with you guys at the wedding and can stay more in touch now! I was reading a few posts back. I am so sorry to hear about this last pregnancy and all the complications. My heart goes out to you! I hope you are feeling better! Such an ordeal! Oh, and your Else TOTALLY looks like the girls from Brave! ;)
You all look great! Fun to see the wonderful pictures.
I love that crazy red hair on your little girl! Curly hair can be hard for kids to handle and I think it's so great that she likes hers.
Your kids are so cute, April! I'm so glad you're online more now, so I can catch up with your family. (I didn't know you had a blog until you got on Facebook!) Alison is beautiful, and so are you. I love how much you and your siblings all look alike.
