Thanksgiving

While up for Thanksgiving our family enjoyed some time at the Riparian Preserve near the Greenfield Library.

Taking a little rest during our walk.

There was a sand pit the girls were able to dig for fossils. Look what they found! A sign in front asks for you to cover up your findings when you are done so the next person can have fun exploring. Elsie insisted we not cover hers up. Therefore, Allen had to linger behind to "make sure no one covered up" her fossils.
Here is the family sitting on the bench where Allen proposed to me on Thanksgiving Day six years ago.

Gotta love candy at Grandpa's house. It forgot to take a picture but the suckers were placed in a wooden turkey with holes to place the suckers to make the feathers. It is a decoration I remember as a child going to Grandma and Grandpa's and eating suckers from the feathers.
Here is Alice and friend having a blast throwing back their bodies to make the chair rock really hard.
