Our Stake is about 2 years old and the current "Stake Center" is a normal church building that has been added upon throughout the years and no longer is sufficient. We have 5 wards that meet the entire 3 hours in that building. We are so excited for the official ground breaking to take place. It was a really neat experience.
They had different tractors on display for the children to see and enjoy.
Elsie behaved well during the different speeches but it was taking way too long for her. So she was the first to break ground, about 10 minutes before everyone else. 
Here is our family participating but Elsie is too upset to look at the picture because she was not allowed to play on the big mounds of dirt. Alice wouldn't turn around because she was having too much fun digging. Hooray for Sahuarita Stake!
